Saturday at the Quilt Museum - I'm in the mood for blue! - Part 1

Blue Collage 1

I'm just hankering for some blue quilts, so that's the direction we're heading for the next couple of weeks!

Blue and White School House

Blue and White School House 1890

This first one is a classic schoolhouse quilt.  I like the one white block in the upper left corner.  Mistake or humor?  Lots of fun.

No information about this one, but I really like it.  The fabrics are fun.  Look at that floral border!

This was found on one of Barbara Brackman's blogs.  You can read more about it at the link below, and see more pictures!;+Piecing)

We'll keep going with blue quilts next week!

Happy Quilting!

- I am not a quilt historian.  I simply enjoy finding interesting quilts and sharing them with you!

- The quilt images on this post were sourced from Pinterest, unless otherwise noted, and are linked to their origin whenever possible.

  1. Blue and white are a very calming color combo. My bedroom has some blue and white. Thank you for sharing the quilt pictures.

  2. I love blue and white quilts. And I love basket quilts. You can guess which of these is my favorite!

  3. I love the Delectable Mountains! They're all so pretty.
