There is no date on this, but I wonder if it is Depression or War Era. It brings to mind the war years' saying:
Use it up,
Wear it out,
Make it do,
Or do without.

I did a little research on her and found that she was a homesteader in the 1930's in New Mexico, but can't find a date for the quilt. Interesting... We should all hold to the war years saying! ♥
